How it all began…
—
The year was 2018. Patrick was in his first year of residency. Christina was kickin’ it in Somerville. Though they’d recently met, Patrick headed west for a ski trip to Jackson Hole. Little did he know, this would be his last ski trip without Christina in tow.
Upon his return, Patrick was eager to get Christina out on the slopes. They planned their first trip together, an eight-day tour of Utah’s finest spring skiing destinations. Disaster struck when packing for the trip; Patrick caught a glimpse of Christina’s unsightly and dated Boeri ski helmet. Fortunately, this wasn’t a dealbreaker, though it did lead to an immediate visit to the local ski shop to get Christina some new and improved gear.
Now, numerous ski trips have happened since, but it’s a return trip to Jackson Hole that will forever be the most memorable. Patrick popped the question at a beautiful slope-side overlook. Overjoyed, Christina said, “Yes!” both to Patrick and to a lifetime of skiing together.
Back in New England, Patrick convinced Christina to get involved in another sport he loved: mountain biking. “It’ll be fun,” he said. While out pedaling a cool 26 miles in Northern Vermont, they couldn’t help but notice a big, beautiful yellow inn at the top of a hill. Patrick told Christina they could get married there one day to keep her happy AND pedaling. Now here we are, planning our wedding at that big yellow inn at the top of the hill. We couldn’t be happier to get this show on the road and look forward to celebrating our big day with you!
